Rinad Tabbalat, MD
I’m originally from Jordan but was born in the US (my dad was completing his fellowship training at the time), we moved back shortly after I was born and so I grew up in Jordan.
I went to the University of Jordan for medical school then in 2017 I moved to Springfield, Massachusetts to start my residency. I completed my Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology training at UMass Chan Medical School – Baystate Medical center.
My husband is originally from Vancouver, BC so we decided to move to the Pacific Northwest, and Bellingham was the perfect place for us. I joined Northwest Gastroenterology and Endoscopy in September of 2023. What drew me to gastroenterology was the diversity of practice, being able to perform procedures and establish long term continuity of care.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our cat. We love to hike and travel whenever we get the chance.
