Kelly McCullough, MD
After graduating from The Evergreen State College, I received my MD from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed my Internal Medicine residency and GI fellowship at the University of Washington as well. I joined Northwest Gastroenterology in 2005 and feel very lucky to have been part of this group for my entire medical career.
My goal is to treat every patient I see with the kindness I would hope to receive and have found interactions with patients to be the absolute highlight of my career in gastroenterology.
Outside of work, I run on logging roads and trails, have completed a score of long runs, including three 100-mile races, the first of which I was last to finish. I thoroughly enjoy enduro dirt bike riding at Walker Valley, hunting mushrooms, repair and maintenance of anything. I replaced transmissions in two cars during medical school. I would love to learn to ride wheelies but I’ll wait until after I retire.
I have been very lucky to have married my high school sweetheart. We have two children, now adults, and could not be more proud of them. My guilty pleasure is internal combustion (motor reference), but I do quite like our Nissan Leaf.
