I grew up in Dover, Delaware and attended undergraduate at the University of Delaware. Medical training began with medical school in Philadelphia, then internal medicine residency in Salt Lake City, followed by a 3-year gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
I initially moved to Bellingham in 2007, choosing this area because of the proximity to the mountains and the water as well as the size and feel of the town. I’ve lived here since then with my wife and 3 children.
After initially working for a large medical group, I joined Northwest Gastroenterology in 2015. I love the opportunity to work for a small, local, physician owned and operated organization where we can make decisions quickly and based on what is best for us and our patients.
When I am not at work, you can find me on the trails, around town at various social engagements, or cheering at local sporting events.
